Every great journey begins with inspiration. For Kozo Space, it all began with a trip to Japan — a country where architecture is more than just the art of building, but a reflection of culture, philosophy, and the way people live.
During our visit, we were captivated by Japan’s remarkable architectural heritage, its harmonious relationship with nature, and its appreciation for simplicity and craftsmanship. From the warmth of natural timber to the thoughtful use of light and space, every detail seemed to carry a deeper meaning.
We had the opportunity to explore the works and design philosophies of renowned architects, whose creations opened our eyes to a different way of understanding architecture.

What inspired us most was not simply the beauty of Japanese architecture, but the philosophy behind it — the belief that a well-designed space should bring people closer to nature, create a sense of tranquillity, and enrich everyday life.
We discovered that true beauty does not always come from complexity or extravagance. Sometimes, it is found in the simplest forms, the finest details, and the thoughtful balance between materials, light, and space.
That experience sparked an idea: to bring this appreciation for architecture, craftsmanship, and thoughtful living into our own work.
And so, Kozo Space was born.
